Every ceremony I create is completely bespoke, designed to reflect your personality, values, and wishes. I take the time to get to know you and understand what matters most, ensuring your ceremony is authentic, meaningful, and memorable.
What's Included
All Ceremonies Include:
- Initial consultation in your chosen format of either face to face or by telephone/email
- Writing the first script based on our initial meeting and the questionnaire I will send you
- Multiple Script Review Service (up to 10 reviews) – This ensures you have the perfect script for your day
- Presentation of your script upon completion of ceremony
- When your deposit has been made, I will not take any other bookings for that date, unless you cancel your booking
Complimentary Services for Weddings and Naming Ceremonies:
- Ritual exploration and ideas
- Help with writing wedding vows
- Regular email and telephone contact throughout the build up to ceremony day
- My attendance at one rehearsal if required

We'll meet (in person or virtually) to discuss your vision, answer questions, and see if we're a good fit. This is a no-obligation chat to explore possibilities.
Getting to Know You
Once you decide to work with me, we'll dive deeper into your story, preferences, and what matters most to you through conversations and questionnaires.
Crafting Your Ceremony
I'll create a draft ceremony script based on our discussions, incorporating your ideas, readings, music, and any symbolic elements you'd like to include.
Refinement
We'll review the draft together, making any adjustments until it feels just right. This is a collaborative process to ensure your ceremony is perfect.
The Big Day
I'll deliver your ceremony with warmth, professionalism, and heart, ensuring everything runs smoothly so you can fully enjoy this special moment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your ceremonies legally binding?
In the UK, celebrant-led ceremonies are not legally binding on their own. For weddings, couples typically complete the legal paperwork at a registry office before or after our ceremony. This separation actually gives you more freedom to create a ceremony that truly reflects you, without the legal constraints.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner you can get in touch, the better, as this gives us plenty of time to create something truly special together. For weddings and vow renewals, popular dates can book up quickly, especially during peak seasons. For funerals and memorial services, I understand the timeframe is much shorter, and I'll always do my best to accommodate your needs with compassion and care. Whatever your timeline, please don't hesitate to reach out - I'm here to help.
Do you travel for ceremonies?
I'm proudly based in Kent and primarily serve clients throughout Kent and the wider UK. I'm happy to travel anywhere in the UK for your special ceremony. I also occasionally conduct ceremonies abroad for couples and families looking for a celebrant for their destination event. Whether you're planning a ceremony in your local garden, a historic venue in Scotland, or a destination wedding abroad, I'd be delighted to discuss how I can help. Travel expenses may apply depending on the location, so please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements.
What if we're not sure what we want in our ceremony?
Don't worry! Part of my job is to guide you through the process and help you discover what feels right for you. I have plenty of ideas and suggestions to inspire you, but the final decisions are always yours.
